Is Santee Salutes a free event?

Santee Salutes is a free event. However, there is a nominal fee for optional food and drinks, on site vendors selling glow necklaces, face painting and t-shirts. Wristbands for the fun zone are $20 each.  Parking spaces and reserved canopies are presold on this webpage.

Parking Information

Accepted Answer

There is no free parking. Parking spots are $10 each (including ADA) On site staff will monitor parking lots from 2:00 – 7:30pm. After 7:30pm, the parking lots will not be monitored and spaces may be available on a first-come, first serve basis. Refer to the parking map before making your purchase.

Reserved Canopy - Tell Me More!

Let us take some of the stress off your day and enjoy the VIP treatment. -	Canopy reservation includes: One 10’x10’ canopy in prime viewing location. (Set up & take down provided by staff.)One reserved parking spot at Town Center Community Park East. Lot opens at 2:00 p.m.

Question 4

Will there be food and drink available on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, food trucks and food vendors will be on site starting at 4:00pm. Attendees are allowed to bring their own food and drinks (BBQ’s are prohibited). Beer and wine are allowed, but no liquor or glass.

Question 5

Can I bring chairs or a blanket?

Accepted Answer

The venue is set up for lawn and picnic style seating, please bring your own chairs and blankets. Canopies and umbrellas are allowed behind the designated canopy line. Canopies must be taken down at dusk to prevent view obstruction of the fireworks show.

Question 6

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, dogs are welcome at the event as long as they are well behaved, on a leash no longer than 6 ft, and you have doggie waste bags on hand. Please make sure your dog is secured during the fireworks show as it may be very frightening.
