Welcome Girl Scout Troop for Kinder - 5th Graders! Ideal for Families who are interested in joing or starting a Girl Scout troop and want to see what a Girl Scout Troop Meeting is like. There will be 6 meetings total. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, meet other families in the area and Experience the fun!

Location: Museum Of Sonoma County (426 7th st)

Date: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month from August - October 2025

Time: 5:30pm - 6:45pm

A Girl Scout "Welcome Troop" is a way to introduce new girls and their families to Girl Scouting. The troop is lead by Girl Scouts of Northern California Council person, Heather Wilber. Heather will lead up to 6 meetings before the troop committee of parents takes over to keep the fun going!

The troop meetings are a safe-space to create a positive and inclusive environment where girls can build confidence, make friends, and experience the fun and enriching activities Girl Scouts offers. Girl Scout Vest, Patches, Badges and Petals are not included.

Event Highlights:

• Introduction to Girl Scouts: Discover what Girl Scouts is all about and the amazing experiences it offers.
• Experience a Troop meeting and what that looks like.
• Interactive Activities: Participate in fun, hands-on activities that showcase the Girl Scout experience.

Who Should Attend:

• Kinder - 5th grade girls and gender-expansive youth who want to experience a Troop meeting.
• Parents and caregivers interested in learning more about Girl Scouts and how they can get involved.

Additional Information:

• This event is free and open to all families.
• Light refreshments will be provided.
• Please ensure that all children are accompanied by a parent or caregiver throughout the event.

Las reuniones de la tropa son un espacio seguro para crear un ambiente positivo e inclusivo donde las niñas puedan desarrollar confianza, hacer amigos y experimentar las actividades divertidas y enriquecedoras que ofrecen las Girl Scouts. El chaleco de Girl Scout, los parches, las insignias y los pétalos no están incluidos.

• Experiencia de una reunión de tropa: Vive una reunión de tropa y cómo se desarrolla.

Quién debe asistir:

• Niñas desde kínder hasta quinto grado y jóvenes con identidades de género diversas que quieran experimentar una reunión de tropa.
• Padres y cuidadores interesados en aprender más sobre las Girl Scouts y cómo pueden participar.

Información adicional:

• Este evento es gratuito y abierto a todas las familias.
• Se proporcionarán refrigerios ligeros.
