Samuel McDuffie, emerging artist LIVE in the Roots
Overview
Samuel McDuffie found his love for music and songwriting as a teenager growing up in Macon, GA. He wrote his first song at age 13 and performed his first concert at age 15. Over the years, Samuel has lived and toured all over the southeast, allowing him to grow his songwriting and stage presence. He now lives in Dahlonega, GA, and hopes to continue to perform and entertain. Through his love of Southern Rock and interest in Appalachian American culture, he has crafted his songwriting into an artform of storytelling, ranging from sing-a-longs to character building.
His craftsmanship takes the listener on a journey through history and gives them the perspective of the characters he has created with his songs.
Intimately connect to both artist and venue in our lush, speakeasy-style, 100 seat listening room. Hear the stories behind the all-original songs as the artist(s) share their inspiration and even their heartaches.
Doors open at 7:00pm; show starts at 7:30pm; VIP lounge or balcony seating with table service available by contacting events@canopyandtheroots.com .
