Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) announces that it will hold a Tribal Consultation Session regarding revisions to the Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records regulations (42 CFR part 2) as required by SAMHSA's Tribal Consultation Policy. The purpose of the Tribal Consultation Session is to elicit your input concerning the effect of 42 CFR part 2 on "patient care, health outcomes, and patient privacy," as well as potential regulatory changes and future subregulatory guidance.

This virtual Tribal Consultation Session will be held on Tuesday, July 31, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Early registration is highly recommended.

In addition to the Tribal Consultation Session, SAMHSA welcomes your written comments on the revions to 42 CFR part 2 no later than September 14, 2018.
