There is a good chance i am leaving, indefinitely on September 1 thus this series is likely coming to an end. So before i depart for Bangkok for an indefnite period of time, i will be filling the calendar with some of my friends and colleagues and favorite performers who have appeared in my loft for intimate concerts and dinners for over 20 years!

My good Sameer Gupta has performed on this series numerous times over the years, solo and with bansuri player Jay Gandhi, woodwind player David Boyce. In addition, we collaorate on his Rootstock Arts project,, which i have been delighted to be a part of since its inception! This time he appears with Marsus Stephens on saxophone and electronics


First course: Red Gazpacho: A summer treat of heirloom red tomatoes pureed and garished with cucumber, red onion, herbs, radish sprouts, and more tomatoes of various colors and flavors.


Second course: Red lentil pate, cucumber salad, homemade bread


Third course: Tempeh kabobs (homemade fava bean tempeh), falafel, rice pilaf, pickles, roasted okra, sauteed corn and peppers.


Concert: Marcus Stephens, Saxophones; Sameer Gupta, Tabla.

Dinners are a communal table of 12 seats and for some events, a chef's table for 2 is also available. Classes are limited to 5 people and are hands on.
