Please join us for our August Luncheon with Arlington National Cemetery. This event will feature Ms. Karen Durham-Aguilera and Colonel Andrew Wiker who will provide updates on activities at Arlington National Cemetery and talk about their upcoming $400M Expansion. You don't want to miss this!

Ms. Karen Durham-Aguilera,
Executive Director Office of Army Cemeteries
Ms. Karen Durham-Aguilera is the Executive Director of the Office of Army Cemeteries and Army National Military Cemeteries (Arlington National Cemetery and the US Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home Cemetery), serving as the Principal Advisor to the Secretary of the Army on all matters related to Army cemeteries. Ms. Durham-Aguilera administers and oversees policies, doctrine, plans, and standards with all stakeholders to include the Army staff, major commands, and the other services. She establishes and sustains gravesite accountability, provides technical guidance, training, staff assistance, and inspections; adjudicates burial exceptions, disinterment, and expansion requests at nearly 40 Army Cemeteries across the nation. As Executive Director, she oversees the nation’s premier military cemetery, Arlington National Cemetery, which has over 6500 burials, 4000 ceremonies and 3.5 million visitors each year, and manages a $70.8M annual budget, $130M in major construction projects, and the planning/development of a new $400M expansion.
Colonel Andrew Wiker,
Director of Engineering, Army National Military Cemeteries
Colonel Andrew Wiker leads the Engineering Directorate at Arlington National Cemetery. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of engineering including Facilities Management, Horticulture, Design & Construction, and Planning & Resources at two Army National Military Cemeteries – Arlington National Cemetery and the Soldier’s and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery. Colonel Wiker has over 26 years of service as a United States Army Engineer Officer where he has broad experience across all aspects of military engineering, serving in combat, construction, prime power, and training battalions. He has additionally served in engineer staff assignments leading diverse teams of Soldiers, DA Civilians, and Contractors at the division, Army Service Component Command, Combatant Command and HQ Department of the Army level as well with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Throughout his career, he has conducted and supported military engineer operations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States.
