Sam Rittenberg Redesign Meeting

The City of Charleston has been working on a plan for the redesign of Sam Rittenberg Boulevard. Using the public input gathered during Plan West Ashley and the workshop for the Zoning Code Rewrite, we have created a whole new vision for this important corridor.

The plan will use the existing right of way to create a street that will be a place to go to and enjoy, connecting our community in a new way. Planted medians, updated signalization, wide paths for walking and cycling, and improved lighting are all part of this exciting update.
