Salsa & Scarecrow Family Fun Day

🍁 Celebrate fall with your family at our annual Salsa & Scarecrow Day!

Make this fun-filled afternoon part of your harvest tradition. For just $10 per family, you’ll receive a scarecrow kit including a frame, burlap, and straw—just bring your own old clothes, hats, or other decorations to personalize your creation!

This year, we're adding a tasty twist to the festivities: homemade salsa sampling to celebrate the harvest season!

• Build-your-own scarecrow activity (we provide the basics, you bring the flair!)

• Salsa to sample and enjoy

• Scavenger-style fun: Find the hidden scarecrow to win a special prize from the Visitor’s Center Gift Shop

All ages are welcome—perfect for families, friend groups, and autumn lovers alike.

Scarecrows will remain on display through October 31 and be recycled on November 1. Please note: all scarecrows become property of The Botanic Garden.
