Get ready to ignite your Salsa journey! The Dance Factory Tampa Bay is thrilled to announce the start of an exclusive 4-week Salsa Dynamic Level 1 Series with the legendary Dennis Lopez "El Caballero", beginning Wednesday, July 10th!

Dennis Lopez, a true pioneer in Latin dance with over 36 years of teaching experience, brings unparalleled expertise in Salsa On1 and On2, musicality, and cultural understanding. Having toured internationally and and founded Milwaukee's first salsa academy, his passion for dance is infectious and his instruction is world-class. You may also know him from his work with the Chicago International Salsa Congress or as the lead singer of the Spanglish Band!

This Dynamic Level 1 course is designed to build a strong foundation for both beginners and those looking to refine their basics. Each session is a 2-hour class, diving deep into:

• Salsa Fundamentals & Timing: Master basic steps, understand On1 vs. On2, and develop musical awareness.
• Lead, Follow & Partner Work: Build strong technique for leading and following, including cross-body leads and turns.
• Footwork & Musicality: Explore basic shines and learn to connect your movement to the music.
• Patterns & Social Dancing Skills: Combine footwork and partner work, practice beginner-friendly patterns, and adapt to social dance environments.
• Social Dance Factory Lab: Apply your skills in a simulated social setting with personalized feedback.

By the end of this series, you'll be confidently dancing Salsa On1 (with an introduction to On2), leading or following with ease, matching your movement to the music, and enjoying social dancing anywhere!

💲 Cost: $120 for the 4-week series, or $20 per drop-in for each hour (each class is 2 hours, so a drop-in for a full class would be $40).
