Safeguarding Adults Week - Trauma Informed Practice

Welcome to Safeguarding Audlts Week. The theme this year is Prevention and this week focuses on how individuals and organisations build resilient communities. It is important to be mindful of the impact of trauma on the emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing of people. A trauma-informed approach helps understand why a person may be making particular decisions and/or choices as well as their presenting behaviours.
