Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in (or entering) grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students learn safety, child care, first aid & rescue, and life & business skills.
Class fee is $50 and includes Safe Sitter® student manual and completion card. Scholarships are available based on financial need; call for more information.
Advance registration with completed registration and payment is required. Register early as classes fill quickly!

- Online - Review the Student Contract with your child. Proceed to 'Get Ticket' and register and pay online on this website. (The website charges a small fee.)
- By Mail - Print and return your completed Safe Sitter registration and Student Contract forms to:

Cancellation Policy:
We reserve the right to cancel a class. A minimum of 6 participants is required to run a class. In the event that a class would need to be cancelled, due to low enrollment, you will be contacted within a minimum of 3 business days.
In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to contact you by the telephone number given on your registration form. You may also call Upland Hills Health at (608) 930-8000.
Please remember that there is limited space in these classes and a cost to provide this education to you. Often there is a waiting list of interested participants. If you are unable to attend a class you have registered for, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class to make the space available for another participant. Registration fees may be transferred as credit for other upcoming educational offerings, or a 50% refund issued. There will be a $20 processing fee for transfers & cancellations. There will not be any refund for no shows or cancellations less than 72 hours.
