Sacred & Eternal
Overview
Sacred & Eternal is a free art installation/event.
Sacred & Eternal is a meditative instillation that invites the visitors to pause, breathe, and engage in spiritual play. Drawing from Buddhist practices accross Therevāda, Tibetan, and Zen lineages, as well as reflections from the artist's Lao roots. The exhibition is expressed through original artworks, devotional forms, ritual objects, and nostalgic memory.
The space is designed to be experienced slowly. Visitors will encounter hand created box shrines, cultural artifacts, paintings, sound, and meditation elements. Some objects are original works, while others are historical/cultural/sentimental. You are free to move through the space viewing the work and rejoicing in community, or grabbing one of the provided meditation cushions and reflecting.
This exhibition is not a recreation of any single tradition, but instead an offering from myself to you, informed by Buddhist spiritual context, Lao culture, and nostalgia.
All are welcome-- No prior Buddhist knowledge required.
