The Path Back to Connection: Healing Attachment Wounds Through the Deep Brain is a continuing education workshop that will introduce the principles of Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a neurobiologically informed therapeutic approach designed to access and resolve the “felt sense” of disconnection at its root.

Meet the Speaker: Susan Love

Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDRIA Certified Therapist specializing in trauma, dissociation, and eating disorders. Originally from Mississippi, she now lives and practices in Tucson, where she serves as President of the Tucson Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. With advanced training in modalities such as EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, and the Safe and Sound Protocol, Susan is known for her compassionate, relationship-centered approach to healing and her advocacy for weight-neutral, non-stigmatizing care. When not working, she enjoys time with her four dogs and two horses, being outdoors, and exploring Tucson’s food scene.
