RUNWAY STORIES: The Side Show takes place in the Bay Area's most unique venue, Vau de Vire's Big Top Tent at Radium Runway.
Curated by JP Frary, well known for his eleven wins of the Moth’s StorySlams and his prowess as an emcee, will feature a lineup of the most compelling storytellers from Snap Judgement, The Moth, and KQED.
The theme is Spooky. The stellar cast of Bay Area storytellers will spin their tales directly from the heart and the head in person, live, no notes and nothing written beforehand.
THE CAST
Glynn Washington is the host and founder of Snap Judgment, recently named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Best Podcasts of All Time.
Holly Shaw is a stand-up comedian, author and storyteller living in Oakland, CA, and performing regularly at clubs and showcases all over the greater Bay Area including the SF Punch Line, Don Reed's Redwood Nights, the Marsh and the Zero to Fierce Festival.
Don Reed is the host/creator/producer of Redwood Nights: Storytelling Under the Stars and a newly minted Simon & Schuster author. Widely known for his one man shows, especially East 14th, he has appeared on HBO, Off Broadway, and was the opening act comedian for The Tonight Show for many, many years.
Gina Stahl-Haven is an award-winning comedian and storyteller. You may have seen her on America’s Got Talent or in venues across the country. Gina’s honest take on life, motherhood, and navigating Costco makes her a delight to watch
