About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us for a FREE one-hour strength and conditioning session led by coach, Dave Vargo, at the MedStar Sport Performance Center – a space designed to strengthen and condition athletes for peak performance.

This session is perfect for runners and anyone who wants to build the power, stability, and resilience that carry you through every mile (and life’s daily finish lines). You’ll get functional movement, mobility, and strength work in an energizing, supportive environment that meets you where you are while challenging you to go beyond it.

And hey, if you’re into it, we might just turn this into a series.

You don’t have to be a pro to train like one – you just have to show up.

Nicky Tamberrino is a runner, yoga teacher, lululemon ambassador, and self-care advocate who believes movement should feel good—physically and mentally. After running 25+ marathons and competing at an elite level, she realized that true success isn’t about PRs but about building a sustainable, healthy relationship with fitness. That journey led her to create Sanity Loading™, a mind & body fitness brand offering yoga, wellness experiences, and impact speaking. She also hosts the Maybe Running Will Help podcast, exploring the intersection of movement and mental well-being.

As an RRCA-certified running coach, RYT-200 yoga teacher, and mind-body fitness expert, she partners with brands like lululemon and Charm City Run to create inclusive spaces where every body can move, heal, and grow. Beyond fitness, she’s a writer, poet, and on-screen talent, with her poetry collection FOUND: Poems for Those Who Have Ever Felt Lost available on Amazon. Based in Baltimore, MD, she’s passionate about building community and making movement, mindfulness, and self-expression empowering for all.
