We ask that all participants be 10 years of age and older.

Do we need to fill out a waiver?

Yes, all participants will need to fill out a waiver if they haven't done so previously with the Southeast Iowa JBS Sports Center. We will have waivers on hand at the check-in table.

Run the River 5K – Coming This September!

In partnership with Meet Ottumwa, we’re excited to bring you Run the River, our inaugural 5K and 1.5 Mile Fun Run happening on Saturday, September 13th!

📍 Start & Check-In Location:

Southeast Iowa JBS Sports Center in Ottumwa, Iowa

Check-in begins at 8:15 AM. The race kicks off at 9:00 AM and will run until 11:00 AM.

Join us for a morning of movement, community, and celebration along the scenic riverfront in Ottumwa! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a casual stroll with friends and family, this event welcomes everyone.
