The Run Fit Crew invites the Bowie community and those in surrounding areas to join us for a group run. We do not run the entire time! This group run is a run/walk interval style workout designed for those with a beginner fitness level (Level II). Refer to the below explanation of fitness levels to determine where you fall:
Beginner Level I - Not physically active
Beginner Level II - Walks 15-30 minutes (continuous) for at least 1-3 days per week
Beginner Level III - Walks 30 minutes or more (continuous) for 3 or more days per week
If you feel you fall under Level I, you are still encouraged to attend. This run is on a loop and if you fall behind you will not get lost.
The run will be led by RRCA certified run coach, Army Veteran and Bowie resident, Coach Patricia.
We will meet at Acorn Hill Park located at 3201 Stonybrook Drive behind Bowie Marketplace (Harris Teeter, Petco, Chick-fil-A).
All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. This run may be cancelled due to inclement weather and rescheduled for a later date.
Cold bottled water and post-workout snacks will be provided for attendees.
We will have Run Fit Crew t-shirts available for $20 while supplies last.
