Is this a free event?

For the most part, yes! Only competing spellers pay a fee of $10. Being part of the audience is free!!!

Once you walk in we are in the back section by the picnic tables. If you can’t find us, ask the bartenders. They will point you in the right direction

How long does this last?

We shoot for 2hr once the competition starts at 7:30. We limit spellers each night to 25. The bar is open the whole night ;)

Starting September 3 we are hosting a weekly spelling bee at Cosmic Saltillo. Check in for spellers is a 7pm. The games start at 7:30p. The top two spellers of each week will be invited back for the champions round the final week of October.

Audience participation is a huge part of what makes the night fun for everyone and it's totally free! Spellers pay a $10 entry fee and win prizes all night!
