This two hour class is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the router and its use in woodworking. We'll cover everything about the machine and how to choose the best router for any size project. The class will also cover bit selection, techniques and basic cuts, template use, inlays, joinery, jigs and plenty of tricks! Once you see all the things a router can do and how to use it, you won’t hesitate to use routers in all of your projects. Experienced and non-experienced woodworkers alike are all welcome in this class! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes.
