Rope 201 for the curious

For this class, we require all participants to come prepared with their own rope, safety cutters, and the ability to tie a single column and double column tie. Material will not be provided but will be available for purchase. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early if you plan on purchasing your rope and safety cutters at the store. All attendees receive 15% off their purchase.

At the level 1, we did single column ties, double column ties, reverse tensions, forward tensions, 2 knots, and one friction. At this upcoming level 2, we'll go over correct, even tension, concepts like Hojo cuffs, and how to design safe harnesses on the chest, with concepts that will be transferable to the bottom half of the body. This class will also be self-tie compatible. We'll also go over some basic drills for confidence and sensuality.

Carter (he/him)(sillypvnk) brings a unique blend of playful whimsy and technical know-how to rope. With an affinity for tricks and 3 years of experience, he can tie, teach, and tease in equal measure.
