Roots & Routes is the inaugural group exhibition of the Colorado South Asian Artists Group (C-SAAG) - a newly formed collective of multidisciplinary artists with ancestral ties to South Asia. This landmark exhibition highlights the vibrant creative expressions of South Asian diaspora artists living and working in Colorado.
Roots & Routes is curated by Bala Thiagarajan, an artist with deep roots in Colorado’s cultural and arts communities. Her curatorial vision blends cultural scholarship, lived experience, and community practice to center the diverse narratives of South Asian diasporic life.
Join us in celebrating this milestone exhibition, capturing both the grounding of ancestral heritage and the evolving journeys of diaspora - how cultural memory travels, adapts, and transforms across borders. Hear from the featured artists about their work & creative practice.
