Grief is both a personal and collective journey, and throughout history, people have turned to the wisdom of plants for comfort, remembrance, and healing. Join death doulas Echo and Karyn for an intimate workshop exploring the ways botanicals support us in navigating loss.
Together, we will reflect on ancient connections between plants and grief, from mythology and Egyptology to their presence in memorials, tombs, and sacred rites. Participants will then create two gentle tools for their own healing journey: a nourishing grief-support herbal tea blend and a topical essential oil roller to carry with you as an ally in tender moments.
This gathering will be held Sunday, October 5, from 2–4 PM at Emy Frentz Building. All supplies are included. RSVP is required, please contact Karyn or Echo.
