Rooted & Rising: A Virtual Gathering for Healing, Connection & Action
Overview
Join us for a one-day virtual gathering designed to nurture healing, build authentic connections, and spark collective action.
In times marked by grief, uncertainty, and the urgent need for justice, Rooted & Rising offers space to pause, replenish, and reimagine what’s possible together in 2026. Through story circles, experiential healing practices, and action-oriented breakout sessions, participants will leave grounded in community and inspired to take meaningful next steps.
What to expect:
- Grounding practices and community agreements to open the day
- Interactive story circles for authentic connection across identities and geographies
- Choice-based breakout rooms exploring somatics, creativity, and liberatory imagination
- Action pods where participants move from reflection to concrete commitments
- A closing circle of collective intention, gratitude, and inspiration
Whether you are a healer, educator, activist, artist, community member, or simply someone longing for deeper connection and purpose, this conference is for you. Together, we will root into practices of care and rise into collective action.
Open to all. This space centers wisdom, resilience, and lived experiences while inviting everyone into practices of shared healing, solidarity, and action.
HEU's pricing philosophy:
The true cost of the conference is $150 per participant. At Healing Equity United, our sliding scale reflects our commitment to equity and accessibility. We recognize that everyone’s financial realities and access to resources differ. Our sliding scale helps make our programs sustainable and accessible to all. We invite organizations and individuals with larger budgets or greater access to resources to contribute at the higher end of the scale. Doing so helps us compensate our facilitators, staff, and access providers fairly, while keeping our programs open to those who need reduced rates.
We also acknowledge the real costs that come with participation — from childcare or caregiving responsibilities to time away from paid work — and we offer lower-fee options for participants with limited financial capacity. This collective approach allows our community to sustain the work and ensure that everyone has a seat at the table.
