Rooted in Self: Visualizing Inner Identity & Connection
Workshop Overview:
Rooted in Self is a reflective art experience focused on reconnecting with your core identity — who you are when you strip away roles, expectations, and outside noise. Through guided prompts and abstract art-making, you’ll visually map your inner identity, values, and personal grounding.
Using paint, line work, symbols, and organic forms, we’ll explore how to express the parts of ourselves that feel most stable, honest, or in need of reconnection. This is about creating from the inside out and giving form to who you are, not who you feel pressured to be.
What You’ll Need:
- Acrylic or watercolor paint
- Drawing materials (optional): pens, markers, charcoal
- Paper or canvas
- Optional: printed photos, collage materials, symbols of personal meaning
What You’ll Get:
- Guided meditation to help ground into self
- Journal and art prompts around identity and stability
- Painting time to visually reflect who you are at your roots
- A quiet, healing space for introspection
