Overview

There’s something special about slowing down and creating something with your hands, especially when it’s a warm, crusty loaf of sourdough.

There’s something special about slowing down and creating something with your hands, especially when it’s a warm, crusty loaf of sourdough. Rooted in Dough is about getting back to the basics, finding joy in simple ingredients, and learning how to make bread that nourishes both body and soul.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn everything you need to confidently bake sourdough at home — from caring for your starter to mixing, folding, and shaping your dough. We’ll talk through each step in an easy, approachable way while you get the feel for your own dough and discover the rhythm that works for you.

Each participant will go home with:

• An active sourdough starter

• Dough you’ve mixed and shaped yourself

• A printed recipe and feeding guide

• The confidence to continue baking on your own

Please bring your favorite mixing bowl and get ready for a cozy, hands-on experience. Come as you are, no experience needed. Expect floury hands, full hearts, and a reminder of how grounding it can be to slow down, get a little messy, and create something from scratch.
