Solving Problems So They Never Happen Again
In this program, you will learn the essentials of Lean problem solving for operational excellence.
Upon completion, you will know how to charter a kaizen event by defining the problem in Lean terms, securing alignment within the team via shared objectives, and establishing scope by anticipating results. You will also know how to use Lean methodologies to analyze and radically improve a process.
The best way to learn Lean is to get hands-on with an actual problem, and this program does just that by emulating parts of a 5-day kaizen event. Participants go home with a potential solution to the problem. In addition, there is the satisfaction of collaborative work and the promise of startling results.
Whether you are self-taught and want to fill in the gaps in your Lean knowledge, or are just getting started thinking about Lean, this exercise will set you up with a foundation from which you can charter projects and redesign processes.
