Overview

As a partnership between the Genesis 123 Foundation and NewPersia.org, co-founders Marziyeh Amirizadeh and Jonathan Feldstein are hosting a special conference to bring Jews and Christians together to share and widen the powerful impact of Root & Branch. In light of the recent war between Israel and the Islamic Republic, this is all the more meaningful and critical, especially with the founders who represent a hope for the future.

Root & Branch is the newest hands-on, meaningful, and tangible way for Christians to make a personal connection to Israel, the Israeli people, and to be a blessing to the people and nation which is still suffering from the trauma of horrific terrorist attack, and war. Root & Branch offers unique comfort and a vision of peace, with a tangible material benefit to Israelis specifically in the Gaza border area, while bringing Christians to harvest olives throughout these communities.

Using the powerful experiences and proven success of Root & Branch as the cornerstone “Building Bridges and Planting Roots in Israel & Among the Jewish People with Unconditional Love” will be personal, inspiring, and engaging.

“Building Bridges & Planting Roots in Israel and Among the Jewish People with Unconditional Love” will take place in two main sessions over two days, also concurring with Shabbat, the Day of Rest, which will provide unique time for worship and fellowship.

Founders & Hosts

Root & Branch was established as a partnership by Marziyeh Amirizadeh & NewPersia.org, & Jonathan Feldstein & the Genesis 123 Foundation.

Marziyeh (Marzi) Amirizadeh is an Iranian American who immigrated to the US after being sentenced to death by hanging in Iran for the 'crime' of converting to Christianity.

Marzi is a published author, public speaker, and columnist. Her first book, 'Captive in Iran,' recounts her capture and imprisonment. Her second book, 'A Love Journey with God,' shares how Marzi found God, the struggles she experienced as a Christian woman in an Islamic Country, and how God can turn any situation into triumph. Marzi also is the founder and president of NEW PERSIA an organization whose mission is to be the voice of persecuted Christians and oppressed women under Islam, to preserve democracy that is being threaten in the West by extremist Islam, expose the lies of the Iranian Islamic regime, and restore the relationships between Persians, Jews, and Christians. Jonathan Feldstein is president of the Genesis 123 Foundation whose mission is to build bridges between Jews and Christians and Christians with Israel. He was born and educated in the U.S. and immigrated to Israel in 2004. He is married and the father of six, and grandfather of four (so far). (www.genesis123.co)

Since the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre in Israel, he has written hundreds of articles, appeared in numerous media interviews, hosted dozens of briefings, and used his voice to further the mission of building bridges between Jews and Christians through multiple global prayer events. Jonathan is also host of the 'Inspiration from Zion' podcast.
