Welcome to the Romance at Virtual Shelf Event! Join us June 27th & 28th for a weekend of author signings and panels. Get ready to discover new romance reads and chat with authors from the comfort of your own home. Don't miss out on this virtual celebration of all things romance!

Here is a quick rundown of how our virtual event will go!

  1. Due to the event being virtual, in order to get a book signed you must preorder it beforehand from the author. Links to preorders for this event can be found on our website or in the schedule below.
  2. During the days of the event, readers will attend virtual book signings via Zoom and interact with the authors. During their timeslots, each author will sign books and interact with readers.
  3. After the signings are over each day, there will be one or two panels in which readers can ask authors questions.
  4. Once the event is over, authors will mail the signed books to the readers!

The event will be hosted using Zoom. All you need is a free account.

Where will the event be hosted?

Online via Zoom!

How will I see authors?

Authors will each have a 1 hour time slot in which readers join them on zoom, get their books signed, ask questions and overall have fun!

How do I get signed books?

Each author has preorders available before the event. They can be found on our website at the link below. Authors will sign preordered books live during their time slot. Once the event is over, authors will ship the signed books to readers. https://www.virtualshelfevent.com/romance-2025

Virtual Shelf Event is owned by authors Rose Johnson & Elsie Smith. We’re both disabled, and traditional book signing environments are hard for us. We wanted to create an option that allowed us & readers like us to get the signing experience. We also wanted a more affordable option as both authors and readers. So we went virtual!
