Roll for Shade Ep. 9: The Golden City

On Sunday, December 14th at 6pm, your favorite East Bay queens return to @the_ricbar for a thrilling new episode of Roll for Shade!

Last time found our queens cornered in the sewers by a new enemy - a mysterious Teknolite lieutenant who seemed to be in league with the City Watch! With help from Muirín, who was just trying to visit his sea-hag mom’s new mobile home in the sewers, the party handily fought off their pursuers (note to self: raise the CR next time).

A daring escape through the alleys of the city led them back to their apartment above the Rocky Ridge Imp Club - thanks to Asha’s clutch 'pass without trace.' Finding it guarded by Teknolite guards, however, the party made a bold move - impersonating the guards’ superiors with 'disguise self.' The ruse nearly fell apart when their performance rolls couldn’t keep up with their corporate drag, but Muirín’s passion for “delivering the office’s Sweetgreen order” eventually won them over (and was possibly too-real for many corporate refugees in the crowd 🥴).

Opening the door to their apartment revealed a truly eerie scene, however: their friend Lily, suspended in a nest of glowing wires, whispering a warning through a chorus of speaking stones…. Come find out what happens next!
