Event description

Description

Cubed has been together for less than 2 years. In that short amount of time, they have played at the Bammies Reunion Concert, The IJ Lobby Lounge Showcase, The Marin County Fair, Hopmonk Tavern Novato, The Hotel Utah, Iron Springs Brewing Co, and recently won first place at the Palo Alto JCC Battle of the Bands.

They have been featured in the Marin IJ and on the radio station 101.1/The Bone.

Don't miss the chance to see them play original songs and covers at Harmonia, located in the historic former Record Plant Studios building.

Cubed is honored to share the stage with Metro and Amped Up.

Metro is an indie-rock band made up of four high school students from Palo Alto High School and Castilleja School. Their lead singer and guitarist is Marina Buendia, their keyboardist is Toni Loew, their bassist is Joseph Cudahy, and their drummer is Rein Vaska. Metro's originals are inspired by artists such as Mild High Club, Spendtime Palace, Wallows, and The 1975. After the band's start just last year in December, Metro has been playing at venues, such as The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, competing in Battle of the Bands, and organizing DIY shows with other local bands. You can follow Metro on Instagram and Facebook @wearemetro.

Hailing from Mount Tam, Amped Up are everything a band of middle schoolers should be: raw, energetic, loud and fun. Knocking out tight rock classics with an assuredness beyond their years, this four piece of fledglings have got their mojo working. The kids are most certainly alright.
