We want to see you at this rockin afternoon of live music, food trucks, adult beverages, 50/50s, raffles, silent auction, a kids zone, and more to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Can Rock.

- Box Hill Pizzaria & Crab Cakes - The Kanaras Family and the Box Hill family have been making delicious hand crafted pizzas and award winning Maryland Crab Cakes for generations with the freshest ingredients and huge fresh chunks of Jumbo Lump and Colossal Blue Crab Meat.
- Kooper's Chowhound Burger Wagon - Voted Best Burger in Maryland, so they took it on the road! And they're here at Rock the Park. Established in 2009, the Chowhound caters gourmet burgers to offices, private events and festivals in Baltimore and beyond. Also watch for the newest Kooper's location coming to Havre de Grace in 2026!

- DHM Beading - Owner and Bel Air resident Jessica, founded DHM during her son’s diagnosis of a rare brain tumor. Her creativity through jewelry making is an expression of gratitude and her way of giving back to the Cool Kids Campaign. Their mission is devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients, survivors and their families by focusing on the academic, social and emotional needs brought on by a cancer diagnosis.
- WaterWORKS! All items are hand painted with watercolor! Beachy abstracts, kindness cards, mini framed art, notecards/birthday cards, and bookmarks.
- BoHo Fabric Art - Check out their wonderful array of fabric collage on wood designs. Each piece is unique, crafted using high quality materials and the artist’s hand. A Baltimore County resident, Shelly is both an artist and art teacher.

Cancer Can Rock is a non-profit organization founded by Jim Ebert, a multi-platinum record producer, himself a cancer survivor. Cancer Can Rock doesn't seek a cure, rather it strives to serve a community of musicians facing aggressive cancer with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. No outside alcohol is allowed at the event. However, there will be a bar onsite for drink purchases.
Yes, blankets and folding camping-type chairs are allowed.
Free parking is located next to Friendship Park at the municipal Park-n-Ride off Rte. 924. You may also park at the Kiddie Academy located across from the Park at 3495 Box Hill Corporate Center Dr, Abingdon, MD. Handicap parking is located at the front of the Park on Woodsdale Rd.
There will be two Food Trucks and a Snowball Stand on premise at the event: Box Hill Pizzeria and Crab Cakes and Kooper's Chowhound Burger Wagon, plus Friendship Park's own Snowball Stand.
Yes. Friendship Park also has a playground on premise.
Beach and Camping Coolers (the larger ones on wheels) are not allowed. However, personal size coolers no larger than a lunch pack are permitted.
No. This is a "rain or shine" event. You may bring personal umbrellas but no beach or picnic umbrellas are allowed.
Tents may not be brought into the event. This includes beach tents, pop-up tents, camping tents, etc.
