Learning Summary: Day in and day out, children are interacting with science and engineering content and processes. Their natural curiosity is fired?-up. This session approaches STEM from the viewpoint of an interested and involved learner. Connections are made to understand the importance of STEM within and outside of the classroom.
Learning Outcomes:
1 . Learners will describe components of a STEM-rich after school environment.
2 . Learners will summarize the benefits of utilizing STEM withn and outside of the classrooms.
3 . Learners will demonstrate how STEM learning opportunities can be engaging.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
