Ever wanted to build your own robot?

So have we, so we’ve asked Motor City Alliance to come teach kids and parents how to build and program robots with easy-to-use kits right here at the Library!

It’s a great way to get an introduction to science, robotics, and computer programming. Come build with us!

(Recommended grades 5 and up)

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience?

Nope! This is a perfect place for beginners!

My kid isn't in 5th grade yet, but they still love robots...can they come?

As long as they can use a computer and follow instructions, they'll be fine. Kids in 5th grade and up will probably get the most out of the club, but any kid that wants to learn is welcome to join us. (Coming with an adult or older sibling would be a big help though!)
