A failing actress is haunted by a silent double that seems intent on taking her place—forcing her to confront what it means to be seen, remembered, or erased.

Bio

Elliot Blanchard is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker whose work blends psychological horror, surrealism, and the uncanny with a meditative, art-driven tone. Drawing on memory, dream logic, and the edges of reality, his films explore identity, grief, and the fragile moments when the familiar begins to slip. His short films have screened at festivals including The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, Festival of Cinema NYC, and the Santa Barbara Indie Film Fest, with recognition as an award winner at the San Diego Movie Awards and the Fortean Film Festival, and a finalist at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival.

Writer-director Kris Lefcoe's films have screened at TIFF, SXSW, Tribeca, Art Basel Miami, British Film Institute, and on IFC and Sundance Channel. Her unique voice runs through an eclectic award-winning body of work that spans network comedies, satirical art films, stop motion animation, and original music.

An art assistant reflects on the highs and lows of working under a world-famous contemporary artist, who also happens to be her vacuum.

Bio

Sophie Worm is an award winning filmmaker and a leading expert in making sh*t up. Her short satirical comedies explore themes around artificial intelligence, climate change and the future of storytelling. Her work has screened in Atlanta, Florida and New York, and her short film The Art Assistant won best director and best super short in 2024.
