Road to Nowhere LIVE @ The Moontower (Dunedin Brewery)
Road to Nowhere, the premier Talking Heads Tribute in the southeast, make their return to the Moontower at the world famous Dunedin Brewery for an evening of unforgettable music. For the first time ever, RTN will play a Talking Heads studio album from front to back in its entirety, the 1983 masterpiece "Speaking In Tongues." From the iconic drumroll into "Burning Down the House" to the final vocal intonations on "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)," Speaking in Tongues signified the transition of The Talking Heads from an edgy, punk-infused trio to a full-fledged funk and world music inspired force that would make them one of the most iconic bands of the 1980s (especially after the success of the tour to support the album, which produced the concert film phenomenon "Stop Making Sense."
In addition to "Speaking in Tongues," Road to Nowhere will play some of your favorite Heads tunes sure to make the cut. To complete the evening, DJ 45Revolver will be spinning your favorite vinyl classics before and after the show on the Dunedin Brewery Pub Stage!
