No! This event is for complete beginners. It can also serve as a refresher if you have welded before, but it's been a while.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just you and a desire to learn! Long hair should be tied up and loose/flowy/draping clothing should be avoided.

Roses are red, sparks are blue, join us and you can weld too! This introductory course will teach students the fundamentals of artistic welding combining safety practices, basic welding techniques, and creative design. Students will learn hobby welding, plasma cutting, and weld safety culminating in the creation of a welded rose that you get to take home! Your fee covers materials and personal protective equipment.
