Riverview Park Christmas Bird Count

Created by the National Audubon Society over 100 years ago, the Christmas Bird Count is the longest running wildlife census. This important collection of scientific data relies on volunteers like you!

Beginners welcome!

We will meet at the Riverview Park Visitor Center where there will be hot cocoa and binoculars to borrow. Please bring your own binoculars if you can, numbers are limited.

We will go over the basics of bird counting before heading out on the trails with a local master birder! Please dress warm and wear proper footwear for hiking.
