Riverfest Creative Movement Class

Take a break during Frenchtown’s Riverfest to enjoy the soothing and sometimes silly flow of a Creative Movement and Dance Theatre class with Michael Vitaly Sazonov. Inclusive in design and accessible for all generations of movers, this free movement class aims to awaken the body and inspire the imagination through the joys and benefits of music and movement.

At the intersection of somatic movement, dance, and theatre games — accentuating improvisation and the expressive body — this class aims to spark one’s creativity and inner joy. If you’ve been curious about our Creative Movement series or are interested in experiencing new, gentle, and fun ways to get your body moving, this opportunity is for you!

No dance experience necessary. Built for older adults, this class is open to all, with special consideration given to those living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.

Registration is requested but not required — walk-ups will be enthusiastically welcomed, whether attendees would like to participate or observe.
