What does it mean to carry a family’s dream across borders?

Rituals of Seeing is the first chapter of Elegant Alien, a photographic retelling of a family’s migration from Ghana, through Italy, to America. At its core, it encapsulates the audacity of a mother’s vision and the courage of a child to keep dreaming beyond borders, even through the uncertainty of migration.
