You are warmly invited to join us for the 20th anniversary of the Federation of the Sufi Message. During our three days together we will rise in unity, embracing the wisdom-streams that flow from Sufi Inayat Khan’s inspiration.

Some of the presenters at the Federation Gathering are:

PIR SHABDA KAHN has been practicing Sufism since 1969. He is the Spiritual Director of Sufi Ruhaniat International, the Sufi lineage tracing from Hazrat Inayat Khan and American Sufi Master Murshid Samuel Lewis, of whom he is a direct disciple.

PIR ZIA INAYAT-KHAN, familiarly known as Sarafil Bawa, is a teacher of Sufism in the lineage of his grandfather, Hazrat Inayat Khan. Pir Zia is president of The Inayati Order and founder of Suluk Academy.

PIR MOINUDDIN CHRISTOPHER CLARKE is the designated spiritual successor of Sufi Amin Macko Chishti, founder of the Fraternity of Light, whose mission is awakening the heart of humanity in everyday life.

MURSHIDA NURIA SABATO served as Co-General Representative of the International Sufi Movement with Murshid Hidayat Inayat-Khan in 2016-17. She resigned this position in 2018. Murshida Nuria continues her worldwide service to the Sufi Message, and as chief officer of the Jamtse Tsokpa Foundation, which she co-founded in 1997.

MURSHIDA RANI MCLAUGHLIN has followed the Sufi path for over 40 years, having been initiated by Pir-o-Murshid Hidayat Inayat Khan. She has served the Message through various functions within the International Sufi Movement. She has actively participated in the Federation of the Sufi Message gatherings for the last 20 years

The Federation of the Sufi Message is an association formed in 1997. It is a non-hierarchical umbrella organization of Sufi groups united in their devotion to Hazrat Inayat Khan and the Sufi Message. Federationsufimessage.org

Since the 1920s when Inayat Khan traveled the world sharing The Sufi Message of Spiritual Liberty, his work has only gained in relevance and importance. He described this Message as a response to the cry of humanity. As the planet, the human species, and our fellow creatures face increasingly uncertain futures, that cry is louder than ever. Through our spiritual training, we can seek to answer that cry together; we can sound a collective voice calling us forward on a shared path, embodying the values of Love, Harmony, and Beauty. Come join leaders and mureeds of many of all the lineages of Inayat Khan, in chant, prayer, dance, meditation and sacred conversation discussion. Let’s inspire each other to support change by Rising in Unity to manifest Harmony in thought, speech, and action in response to the cry of humanity in our time.

Pay with credit or debit card (EB transaction fee will be added) or by mailing a check (small registration fee added). Check payment option comes up after you choose your rooming preferences. Cancellation requests received before April 11, 2019 will refunded the amount paid minus $50.00. Cancellation requests received on or after April 11, 2019 will be refunded the amount paid minus $75.00.

Conference/retreat arrival begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 2 and departure must be complete by 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 5. Dinner is provided on Thursday. Lunch is the final meal on Sunday. All meals are vegetarian with vegan and gluten-free offerings. No pets, alcohol, drugs or tobacco are allowed on campus.
