RISE@APL Information Session
Overview
Since 2014, the Whiting School of Engineering and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory have hosted the RISE@APL (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) internship program, which welcomes highly qualified undergraduate and graduated students an opportunity to work side by side with APL researchers as paid scholars on APL-sponsored projects.
Interns have conducted research in areas ranging from ballistic missile systems and computer vision to prosthetics and secure mobile communications.
Join us on October 22 to hear RISE@APL scholars share their internship experiences and innovative projects, with APL recruiting providing details about the application process. Following the formal program, there will be an opportunity to network with current students, APL mentors, and Hopkins engineering alumni during a reception.
Pizza will be provided during reception.
More information about RISE@APL can be found here. Questions may be directed to Holli Walker, College Internship Program Specialist at Holli.Walker@jhuapl.edu and Nicole Anderson, College Recruiter at Nicole.Anderson@jhuapl.edu.
