The Rio del Fierro Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, invites the public to an open house on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event will take place at the Texas Army National Guard Armory, located at 3701 Armory Rd., Wichita Falls, Texas. RSVP is required. http://wichitafalls.cap.gov/join.
The open house will showcase Civil Air Patrol’s missions of emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs. Both youth and adults are encouraged to attend and learn more about the organization’s role in serving the community and the nation. CAP welcomes youth members starting at age 12 and adult volunteers beginning at age 18. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local members and explore how they can participate in meaningful volunteer service.
