RIMA Fest: Preserving the Invisible

RIMA Fest: Preserving the Invisible

By Kronika

Overview

A world-café gathering to safeguard censored and threatened community memory.

Join us for an open conversation with archivists, journalists, technologists, and activists who see archiving as a form of civic resistance. We invite everyone based in New York who is engaged in the mission of civic archiving—or archiving as activism—to exchange experiences and strategies. Together, we’ll explore how our work is changing as the Internet and the public sphere transform:
How do we preserve digital evidence when the Internet is not forever?
How do we resist political pressure and navigate polarisation?
How do we protect memory when truth itself is under attack?
Come share your practices, doubts, and tools—and help shape the collective future of archiving in dark times.
