Introductory Rifle Fundamentals

Beginner friendly. This course blends classroom learning with live-fire range time to build safe, confident rifle handling and marksmanship. We cover safety rules, rifle mechanics, loading/unloading, shooting fundamentals, multiple shooting positions, and basic cleaning and maintenance.

• Rifle parts, actions, and operation; ammunition basics
• Shooting fundamentals
• Shooting positions
• Cleaning, care, and rifle maintenance

Format

Classroom instruction followed by guided live-fire on the range and qualification.

Requirements & What to Bring

• Your rifle (cased)
• Eye & ear protection
• Ammunition (10 rounds)
• No live ammo in the classroom at any time
• Range fee & ammo are not included in course price

Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
