Rick Schofield Memorial Bird Walk
Overview
This event is in memory of Rick and the other remarkable birders who have touched the lives of so many of us. We invite you to a special bird walk along the Marsh Trail. This in-person event will allow you to explore this stunning wildlife refuge while honoring Rick’s passion for bird watching. Rain or Shine event.

Location: Marsh Trail
Meeting Point: Parking lot at the Marsh Trail
Entry Fee: $10.00 per vehicle (unless you possess a park pass)
Restrooms: Available outside the Visitors Center and inside the Visitor Center, which opens at 0900.
Registration: We request registration.
eBird Participation: A shared ebird list with be available. It will go to the email you used for registration.

What to bring: water, snacks, binoculars, camera or spotting scope, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a wide-brimmed hat.
No drones, glass, alcohol, or littering.
Photographs: We encourage photographers to capture the beauty of birding adventures.
Photos can be shared on social media, and by purchasing a ticket, you agree to having your picture taken and used on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, let Glenn know
