Rez Abbasi Quartet

This Saturday at Takoma Station, it's New York-based guitarist Rez Abbasi. Awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship in 2021 for composition, voted #1 Rising-Star Guitarist in the 2013 DownBeat Critics Poll and subsequently voted as a top-ten guitarist alongside luminaries Bill Frisell and Pat Metheny, Rez Abbasi is one of the most original voices on the current scene. This will be a noteworthy show, to say the least, featuring Savino Palumbo on keyboard, Steve Arnold on bass and Mike Kuhl on drums.
