Join us for a week-long intensive workshop from July 28–August 1 at the University of Arizona’s main campus (Modern Languages 504). This summer session is part of Talk It Out – Interactive Theater, a program founded by Dr. Aurelia Mouzet in 2018. Dedicated to using performance as a catalyst for dialogue, reflection, and social change, the program brings together students, educators, and community members to explore pressing issues through Forum Theater.
The 2025 theme is Inclusive Curriculum Design.
This summer, we focus on learning disabilities, with original skits developed from interviews conducted in early July.
Participants will engage with techniques from Theater of the Oppressed, Forum Theater facilitation, and Arts-Based Research. The workshop runs Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, with a daily one-hour lunch break/potluck.
A public Forum Theater performance based on the workshop will be held on August 12, open to UA faculty, students, staff, and the wider Tucson community.
Limited space – registration required
