Be MCC: Transforming ourselves as we transform the world. Metropolitan Community Churches proclaims and practices a spirituality that is anchored in the liberating gospel of Jesus Christ and confronts the issues of our volatile, uncertain, and complex world. We are called to develop and equip leaders, congregations, and ministries that foster spiritual growth, do the work of justice, act with compassion, and integrate sexuality and spirituality. We will do this through offering high-value training, local church support and resourcing, cutting-edge theological exploration, and expanding partnerships.
Course description: REVM is the official denominational in-take program for MCC designed to help individuals discern and/or further their call to ordained ministry in MCC. REVM is the gateway program to explore preparation for Professional Spiritual Leadership in MCC. This program is designed for individuals at the very beginning of their process with MCC, those serving as Interim Pastoral Leaders, as well as for clergy in good standing from other denominations who want to transfer their credentials to MCC. There is a personal financial commitment that must be made to this process, so prior to entering REVM one should seek the counsel of their local Pastor, Denominational Elder, or a member of the Community Development-Leadership Development Team.
Registration will be limited to 20 participants.
The registration rate is $500 USD. The registration fee covers the REVM course, accommodation, lunch, and dinner.
