About this event

REVIVE! is the Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education program for the Commonwealth of Virginia. REVIVE! provides training on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency using naloxone. This Lay Rescuer training covers understanding opioids, how opioid overdoses happen, risk factors for opioid overdoses, and how to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of naloxone. Attendees are eligible to receive free naloxone from their local health department!

Where is the class held?

The class is hosted at the Roanoke City Health Department, 1502 Williamson Rd NE 24012, 2nd Floor. The class is held after the offices have closed for the day, so upon arrival enter through the glass doors on the Williamson Rd side and proceed to the second floor. An instructor will let you in!
