Revisionary: Black Space as Blueprint, Archive, and Possibility

Through installations, conversation, and gathering, we’ll reflect on the past, engage the present, and imagine the possibilities of the future. Anchored by the Builder’s Table community art piece, the night invites us all to consider: What makes Black design actually Black?
This event is presented by offTOP Design and funded by a Mellon Foundation “Humanities in Place" grant, supporting the school's USC-Getty Paul R. Williams Architectural Archive Initiative.
Expect:
- Exhibition walls reimagining South LA neighborhoods through Black futurist aesthetics.
- The Builder’s Table — a collective art-making and storytelling installation.
- Black Design Seminar by Demar Matthews, Principal of offTOP Design
- Food, drinks, and conversation celebrating culture, community, and imagination.
